...and how to get your tools sharpened?

There are several ways to get your tools sharpened by me. As I am a mobile sharpener in the Colchester and Tendring area, I am on the road a lot and from time to time you can find me at several permanent points in addition to one-off occasions. Below I would like to summarize how you can contact me in order to sharpen your tools.

ON-SITE SHARPENING (home/business visit)

You can book an on-site sharpening session by phone (07852 464883) if you can't or don't want to travel. There is no call-out fee, but a minimum order/spend of £50.00, just to cover the fuel price and time spent on the road.

Of course, there is NO minimum spend on drop-offs and postal orders (see details below), nor if you visit my mobile sharpening unit at any spots.

(I know there are hard times these days and it is not easy for many to top up their £50 minimum order. That’s why I want to encourage everyone to feel free to ask their family, friends, co-workers or neighbours... for sure they must have some tools they want to see again in their former glory. This makes it easier for everyone together)

  • Summer period (March-Oct) the 1st and 3rd Thursday every month
     

• HARWICH – DOVERCOURT: Street Market (8am - 2pm)

  • Winter period (Nov-Feb): the 3rd Friday every month

24/7 DROP-OFF and COLLECTION POINT

Use the safe metal lockers at my drop-off and collection point on the open back porch of my home in Little Clacton. NO APPOINTMENT NEEDED!!!

Its use is easy and secure. You just put your tools in, lock the door and take the key with you. I will notify you as soon as the work is finished (usually within one working day) and you can pick up your sharpened tools at any time 24/7 from the same cabinet where you left them using the key you have.
Next to your tools, you will find the receipt and an envelope in which you can put the labor fee. Just drop the envelope with the money through the letter box at the main entrance when you leave.
