The new life of a broken knife

Good or bad habit... but I never throw away things I think it would be useful sometime later. My chef knife has broken a few years ago. Just find the blade in a box and decided to salvage and give it a new life. The shape of the blade is very similar to the Japanese Deba knife (deba bocho). Handle made from beech and sapele (garage find) wood, treated with danish oil.
